CSC 20″ city water filtration station - Total protection at the entrance to the house
Why install a CSC 20″ station?
- Protect your installations: limit the impact of limescale on your pipes, taps, water heaters, washing machines and dishwashers.
- Improved sanitary water: reduction of tastes and odours linked to chlorine and pollutants.
- Ecological solution: no salt, no electronics, no water waste.
- Easy to use: no adjustment, no complex maintenance.
Note: for complete potabilization of drinking water (PFAS, nitrates, heavy metals, viruses, bacteria, new contaminants, etc.), we recommend downstream addition of a non-reservoir osmosis unit, with vortex and plant mineralization.
Ecological & economic benefits
- No salt or chemicals required
- No electricity consumption
- No water discharge to treat
- Protects your installations and extends their lifespan
- Reduces scaling, breakdowns and costly maintenance work
How do you filter city water at the front door without a salt softener?
The CSC 20″ filtration station treats incoming general water without salt, electricity or electronic programming. It combines three complementary actions: scale inhibition (food-grade silico-polyphosphate), filtration of particles and sediments, and reduction of chlorine, PFAS, pesticides and VOCs thanks to the activated carbon block. Unlike a softener, it does not alter the water's natural mineral content, and generates no saline discharge.
What's the difference between an anti-scale filter and a softener?
An anti-scale filter modifies the crystallization of calcium carbonate to limit scale adhesion.
A salt softener exchanges calcium/magnesium ions for sodium.
The CSC station works without salt, without rejects, without electronics or electrical connections, and without water loss.
Is it possible to filter the whole house with a compact system?
Yes. Installed on the cold water inlet with by-pass, the CSC station protects pipes, water heaters and household appliances while improving domestic water quality.
Does the CSC 20″ reduce PFAS?
Yes, the activated carbon block (Ref. CSC10-3) helps reduce PFAS, VOCs and organic residues in tap water.
How do I choose between CSC 10″ and CSC 20″?
- Choose the CSC 10″ if you live in an apartment with a water point, or if your consumption is low to moderate (smaller cartridges, shorter average life).
- Choose the CSC 20″ if you live in a house, with several water points or higher consumption (larger cartridges, higher filtration capacity, less frequent renewal).
→ Fewer changes, fewer constraints for large families or high consumption.
Wound sediment filter: performance
No, it's deliberately selected: consisting of a wire wound around a central core, it's more mechanically resistant and better suited to the high flow rate required.
Easy renewal and maintenance
Recommended option: flexible by-pass with loose nuts. Allows you to isolate the filtration system without cutting off the general water supply.

Cartridge composition
- 1st cartridge (Ref Filtermax): manual self-cleaning sediment filter, removes suspended solids > 100 microns (pressure gauge included).
- 2nd cartridge: anti-scale treatment with food-grade polyphosphate (Ref CSC1-20).
- 3rd cartridge: braided polypropylene sediment filter (Ref CSC2-20), retains rust and matter > 50 microns.
- 4th cartridge (Ref CSC3-20): coconut activated carbon block + 10-micron mesh, to reduce persistent pollutants/PFAS, tastes and odors, COD, VOCs (iodine 800...).
COD: "Chemical Oxygen Demand", measures the quantity of organic matter in water (variable according to persistent pollutants, particularly pesticides).
VOC: "Volatile Organic Compounds" (petroleum derivatives, halogenated compounds containing chlorine, fluorine, iodine, etc.).
Filter life
- 12 to 18 months maximum for 20″ cartridges (depending on incoming water quality and volume filtered).
- The self-cleaning filter must be rinsed every year or as soon as the pressure increases.
- After washing the filter holders, apply Osmodyn silicone grease to the O-rings.
- Renewal does not require a specialist.
Secure tank opening
Transparent polycarbonate bowl to fit standard 20" filters.
Secure assembly and opening: unlike the basic/blue head model, the black head's clamping hook is positioned higher up, reducing the risk of the key slipping.

Decompression vent: push-button air release.

Description
1 self-cleaning filter holder + 3 20" filter holders, 20x27 connection, removal key, 1 pressure control gauge, 4 filters + by-pass option.
Installation (reminder)
- Connect the station to your main cold water supply, ideally with a pressure reducer upstream.
- If necessary, reposition the filter holders and cartridges in the IN-OUT direction.
- Turn on the water and allow the air to bleed through the bleed valve.
- Check for leaks.
- The filtered water now circulates throughout your entire sanitary installation.
Compliance
NSF / ANSI 42 - Water Quality - Compliance with SSIGE Directive W12.
