The Osmodyn Rain Trio Station® is designed to filter rainwater, well water or domestic tap water without the need for UV. It combines mechanical filtration, adsorption and electroadsorptive technology to reduce sediments, micropollutants, bacteria and viruses, depending on the chosen configuration.

Does this station reduce PFAS?
Yes, versions incorporating activated carbon and/or Disruptor® reduce PFAS and other persistent micropollutants.
How do I choose between the 10″ and 20″ station?
- Choose the 10″ if you live in an apartment with one water point, or if your consumption is low to moderate (smaller cartridges, shorter average life).
- Choose the 20″ if you live in a house, with several water points or higher consumption (larger cartridges, higher filtration capacity, less frequent renewal). See this model

3 configurations to suit your environment
N°1 Standard: Trio Baseguard
In urban areas: air pollution and heavy metals. In urban environments, rainwater picks up fine particles, braking dust, hydrocarbons, heavy metals and ozone residues. The result: more acidic water that can corrode installations and alter sanitary quality.
Private borehole or local groundwater: ideal for clear water, free from unwanted particles, odours and tastes.
May be complemented by an anti-scale treatment (Ring Osmodyn or food-grade silico-polyphosphate cartridge).
- Particle sieve (80 microns) - Ref SED-L-10: retains solid particles in suspension. Washable and reusable for several years, to be checked monthly.
- Sediment micro-filter (20 microns) - Ref CSC10-2: expanded polypropylene cartridge. Retains impurities > 20 microns. Annual renewal.
- Activated carbon block (10 microns) - Ref CSC10-3: reduces chlorine, PFAS, heavy metals, VOCs and odors. Improves taste and neutralizes unpleasant odors. Annual renewal.
N°2 Reinforced: Trio Bio-Safe
In rural/agricultural areas: nitrates and pesticides. In the countryside, rainwater can be contaminated by nitrates, phosphates, pesticides and fertilizer residues. Also ideal for securing borehole water in rural areas.

- Sediment micro-filter (20 microns) - Ref CSC10-2: 6 to 12 months renewal.
- Bi-filtre Disruptor® (0.05 microns): ability to retain viruses (0.05 microns) and bacteria (0.5 microns) thanks to electro-adsorption. Electroadsorptive pleated surface: 27,800 m² ( > 100 tennis courts) - central core of activated carbon block. Annual renewal.
N°3 Avancée: Trio Pure-Plus
Industrial areas: chemical pollutants and specific residues. Recommended near industries or high-risk areas (heavy metals, solvents, chemical pollutants).
- Sediment micro-filter (20 microns) - Ref CSC10-2: 6 to 12 months renewal.
- Activated carbon block (10 microns) - Ref CSC10-3: reduces chlorine, PFAS, pesticides, VOCs and odors. Renewal 6 to 12 months.
- Disruptor bi-filter® (0.05 micron) - Ref AD 10: advanced chemical and microbiological barrier, high capacity to retain viruses (0.05 micron) and bacteria (0.5 micron) thanks to electro-adsorption. Electroadsorptive pleated surface: 27,800 m² - central core of activated carbon block. Annual renewal.
Drilling water analysis: an essential step
Before any installation, we strongly advise you to carry out :
- bacteriological analysis (coliforms, E. coli)
- chemical analysis (nitrates, pesticides, dissolved metals, pH, hardness)
This will enable you to select the most suitable Trio plant and convert it to 4-stage filtration, adding if necessary :
- Disruptor treatment (bacterial disinfection)
- an anti-scale system
- a specific iron/manganese filter

Maintenance & renewal
- N°1: washable screen to be checked monthly
- N°2 & N°3: 6 to 12 months renewal or 6,000 to 9,000 liters of filtered water*.
* depending on volume treated and water quality, max. 1 year.
Close inlet/outlet valves, remove filters, wash transparent bowls with soap before replacing filters.
Decompression vent: push-button air release. Then open the water circulation valves.
We recommend applying our food-grade silicone grease to the screw-in part and the O-rings and renewing the O-rings at least every 2 years.

Legal references: please always check local regulations regarding the collection and use of rainwater or borehole water.
WHO recommendation: rainwater should not be used for drinking, food preparation or personal hygiene, due to the risks of chemical and microbiological contamination.
Domestic use: even when filtered, rainwater or borehole water is still considered unfit for human consumption in most cases. It is primarily suitable for watering, toilets and cleaning.
