Tutorial: replacing filters (Reverse Osmosis Slim Pure Osmodyn)
Tools required
To replace the filters, you'll need the rinsing head, the small tube extraction wrench supplied with your osmosis unit, and the transport plugs.

Preliminary step (common to all Osmodyn reverse osmosis (RO) systems)

- Close the water inlet, disconnect your RO unit from the electrical supply, open the RO water tap and the drain valve.
- Remove the red clips securing the connections of the 3 tubes (white, blue or or black Shield tube).
- Using the wrench: with one hand, push the collar around the tube (white, blue or or black Shield tube) towards the connection, and with the other hand, pull the tube.
- Close the connections with the 3 transport plugs.
For the Slim Pure Osmosis Unit
You can only proceed to the following steps once you've completed the preliminary step.
Step 1: Pre- & Post-filter replacement (Annual)
Position the Premium RO system flat and slide out the filter holder.

Using the wrench, remove the Post-Filter elbow fitting and release the carbon Pre-Filter cartridge from its head by turning it counter-clockwise.

Rinse your Pre-Filter by letting the water run for 1 minute at the sink: using the filter cap supplied, connect the IN side of the cap to the water inlet tube.

You can now connect the filters, observing the water circulation arrow on the post-filter.
Open the water inlet and let it circulate for 1 minute to expel any air. Close the drain valve and sink faucet to re-pressurize the unit. Electrically reconnect your Slim pure.
Take time to check your connections for leaks.
Step 2: Membrane RO replacement (triennial)
Using the wrench, disconnect only the elbow fittings connected to the blue tubes from the RO membranes (no need to remove the tubes from the fittings).

Do the same to unclip the Membranes RO from the elbows fitting connected to the white tubes, then disconnect the elbow fitting from the tube connected to the switch (black box connected to the booster pump).

You can now change your RO membranes and proceed with reassembly.
Step 3: Reassembly
Connect the elbows fitting linked to the white tube network. located on the top and bottom of the RO membrane. And the drain on the blue part of the third RO membrane.

Connect the blue evacuation to the RO membrane, respecting the blue mark intended for the blue tube only.

Insert the elbow into the post-filter, respecting the direction of water flow, then connect the carbon pre-filter by turning it clockwise in its head until it stops.

Slide the Slim Pure unit into its holder.
Using the wrench, remove the transport plugs, then reconnect the RO water outlet and water inlet.
Open the water inlet and let the water circulate for 1 minute to expel any air. Close the drain valve (on the blue tube) and the sink faucet to re-pressurize the osmosis unit. Electrically reconnect your Slim Pure.

Take time to check that there are no leaks when restarting.
