Tutorial: replacing filters (Osmodyn Premium Reverse Osmosis )
Tools required
To replace the filters, you'll need the small tube extraction key supplied with your osmosis unit, as well as the transport plugs.

Preliminary step (common to all Osmodyn RO systems)

- Close the water inlet, disconnect your reverse osmosis (RO) system from the electrical supply, open the RO water tap and the drain valve.
- Remove the red clips securing the connections of the 3 tubes (white, blue or black Shield tube).
- Using the wrench: with one hand, push the collar around the tube (white, blue or black) towards the connection, and with the other hand, pull the tube.
- Close the connections with the 3 transport plugs.
For Premium and Odemer* RO
Once you've completed the preliminary step, you can proceed to the next steps.
Step 1 = Annual replacement of Bi-filter & Post-filter
*Step 1 bis (Odemer) = Annual replacement of bi-filter and sediment filter
Remove the Premium RO system from its box.

Remove the red safety clip and, using the wrench, pull the tube feeding the bi-filter cartridge.

Do the same to remove the elbow fitting connected to the post-filter.
*For Odemer: do the same to remove the sediment filter.

Rinse the new Bi-filter for 1 minute in the sink, connecting the IN side of its cap to the water inlet tube.
*For Premium Odemer, the sediment filter does not require rinsing.
Connect the new filters and reassemble the RO unit. Open the water inlet and let the water circulate for 1 minute to expel air. Close the drain valve and sink faucet to re-pressurize the unit. Reconnect your reverse osmosis unit electrically.
Check your connections for leaks.
Step 2: Replacement of Premium and Odemer RO membranes
Using the wrench, remove the two smooth elbows from the two crosses corresponding to the evacuation (blue) and purified water outlet (white) located on the top of the pump, as well as the third elbow connecting the vortex to the post-filter.

Step 3: Disconnect tubes
Remove the 6 safety clips positioned on the diaphragm outlets to remove the blue and white tubes.
Do the same for the 3 diaphragm inlet fittings.

Step 4: Release pump and remove RO membranes
Undo the buckles and remove the turnbuckles holding the pump in place to free it.

Remove the double-clips connecting the diaphragms.
You can now change your RO membranes and reassemble your RO Premium system.
Step 5: Reassembly
Replace the double-clips connecting the RO membranes.
Refasten and adjust the turnbuckles holding the pump to the two right-hand RO membranes.

Replace the tubes on the RO membranes, observing the correct color (blue/white), then secure with the safety clips.

Reconnect the two elbows to the cross fittings, observing the correct colors.

For Premium: Reclip the elbow fitting into the post-filter and reclip the filter onto its support.

*For Odemer: reclip the sediment filter.
Fit the tube over the cap of the Bi-filter (OUT), replace the red safety clip and reclip it onto its support.

Using the wrench, remove the 3 transport plugs, then replace the osmosis unit in its case.

Open the water inlet and let the water circulate for 1 minute to expel any air. Close the drain valve and sink faucet to re-pressurize the RO system. Electrically reconnect your RO osmosis unit.

Take time to check that there are no leaks when restarting.
