The Ring certified by Osmodyn® is an innovative, passive and autonomous anti-scale solution that is installed around the pipe without cutting or modifying it. It acts on the water circulating in your systems, transforming the structure of limescale to reduce its adhesive effects, prevent scaling and stabilize the water in your open or closed circuits.

How does the anti-scale Ring work without magnets or electricity?

The Ring acts on the physico-chemical structure of water by modifying the configuration of molecules to encourage the formation of non-adhesive aragonite rather than hard calcite.

Unlike many magnetic or zinc anode-based anticalculus systems:

The Ring is made from a composite material based on silica (geosourced) and rilsan (biosourced), around 80% recyclable. This patented technology promotes the transformation of calcium carbonate into aragonite (a non-adherent form of limestone), naturally reducing deposits and scaling.

The expert principle is based on low frequencies: the liquid-phase oscillator emits ultra-low frequencies in the direction of the water molecules circulating in the pipes. It acts on the water's coherence states, encouraging carbonate dissolution and crystallization in the form of aragonite.

Does the Ring replace a softener?

The Ring is an economical, sustainable and ecological alternative to salt water softeners.

Unlike a softener, it does not remove the minerals naturally present in water (calcium and magnesium) and does not modify its chemical hardness.

Its actions are different:

Anti-limescale

It acts on both cold and hot water: hard limescale (calcite) is transformed into non-adherent aragonite, minimizing deposits on :

• water heater resistors
• taps and showers
• boilers and heating circuits
• washing machines and dishwashers
• pipes
• heat transfer fluids
• fridges

Anti-corrosion

Ring helps slow the formation of metal oxides responsible for internal corrosion.

Anti-sludge & biofilm

By stabilizing water, Ring permanently reduces sludge formation and limits the development of biofilm inside closed circuits (heating, DHW circuits, exchangers).

Where to install?

The Ring can be installed :

• on the main cold water network
• on the DHW loop return
• on a closed heating circuit
• on any food-grade fresh water pipe

For an open circuit (mains water, cistern or tank), it must be placed in the general water inlet. For a closed circuit (heating, DHW), it must be installed after each circulator.

The choice of reference depends on the external diameter of the pipe on which it will be mounted.

Installation information & diagrams

• For an open circuit (sanitary): place the Ring on the general water inlet, downstream of any filtration system.
• For a closed circuit (heating): place the Ring after the circulator (or after each circulator).
