Why and how to lubricate O-rings?

O-rings are rings whose purpose is to ensure an effective seal between the different parts of a filter holder.

Incorrect assembly or a loose fit can cause leaks and serious damage. To ensure proper installation and long service life, we recommend the use of a lubricant.

O-ring maintenance: food-grade silicone grease

When renewing filters and cleaning filter holders, we recommend applying silicone grease, as it is non-toxic and protects against humidity. It doesn't stain or stick to dust. It has the advantage of being suitable for use in the food industry and in sanitary equipment.

The best way to apply joint grease is to apply a thin, even coat over the entire surface of the joint with your fingers.
