Product description:

The Disruptor Bi-Filter® 20" is a high-performance water purification solution for domestic use with mains water. Thanks to its advanced technology, derived from the recycling of water from the International Space Station (ISS), it guarantees safe, healthy water while preserving essential minerals.

Depending on the quality of the incoming water, its filtration capacity ranges from 300 to 800 m³, with an average of around 600 m³ on mains water.

Disruptor technology®

Developed in partnership with NASA by Argonide (Florida, USA) and manufactured by Ahlstrom (Finland), Disruptor® filter media is based on natural electro-adsorptive filtration, far more efficient than simple mechanical screening.

It is composed of :

• AlO(OH) boehmite fibers

• Volcanic zeolite treated with silver for its bactericidal properties

• Activated carbon powder injected into the fiber

The accordion-pleated structure provides an exceptional filtration surface, ensuring maximum efficiency without premature clogging.

Filtration performance :

• Average filtration size: 1.5 microns

• Bacterial retention down to 0.5 micron

• Viral retention down to 0.05 micron

Measured efficiency :

• 99.99999 % bacteria

• 99.99% viruses

• 99.95% cysts (giardia, cryptosporidium)
