Rainwater/drilling filtration plant with UV.
Principles
- 3-stage filtration + UV disinfection: clarification → refining (taste/odor/organic) → microbiological deactivation (bacteria, viruses, protozoa) by UV lamp.
- Targeted for rainwater/wells/drilling after prior analysis and adaptation
- Household protection to clarify, refine (tastes/odors/organics) then reduce bacteria & viruses with UV . Potabilization to be carried out downstream with an osmosis unit to eliminate a broader spectrum of contaminants.
Benefits
. Flow rate 2.8 m3/h
- Continuous treatment at the point of entry: treated water for the whole house/dedicated network.
- Chemical-free, no salt or chlorinated by-products.
- Quick-change filters - B y-pass recommended for maintenance without interruption.
- UV in stainless steel, quartz sheath.
Typical configuration
-
Sediment (graduated mesh): sand, sludge, rust, TSS.
-
Activated carbon block: taste/odour reduction, VOC/THM, pesticides/PFAS*.
-
(Option depending on quality) fine media/electro-adsorptive.
-
UV: stainless steel housing + low-pressure lamp (instant disinfection).
Installation
- Upstream of domestic "treated water" network, on by-pass with isolation valves.
- Connections: Inlet 1''F - Outlet 3/4" (20×27) .
- UV requirements: clear water , low turbidity, limited iron/manganese to guarantee UV dose.
- Electricity required for UV unit.
Maintenance & safety
Regular pressure checks to prevent clogging.
- Cartridges: 6-12 months depending on turbidity/volume.
- UV lamp: replace 12 months (nominal hours); cleaning/checking of quartz sleeve .
- Initial rinsing and physico-chemical & bacteriological checks recommended.
* Reduction depends on water quality and contact time.
