Product description:

The Disruptor Bi-Filter® 10 inches (9 3/4) is a high-performance water purification solution for domestic use with mains water. Based on water recycling technology from the International Space Station (ISS), it offers advanced filtration while preserving minerals essential for good health.

Depending on the quality of the incoming water, its filtration capacity ranges from 150 to 400 m³, with an average of around 300 m³ on mains water.

Disruptor technology®

Developed in partnership with NASA by Argonide (USA) and manufactured by Ahlstrom (Finland), Disruptor® filter media is based on natural electro-adsorptive filtration.

It is composed of :

• AlO(OH) boehmite fibers

• Volcanic zeolite treated with silver for its bactericidal properties

• Activated carbon injected into the filter media

The accordion pleated structure significantly increases filtration surface area, guaranteeing maximum efficiency without premature clogging.

Filtration performance :

• Average particle size: 1.5 microns

• Retention of bacteria down to 0.5 microns

• Virus retention down to 0.05 micron

Measured efficiency :

• 99.99999 % bacteria

• 99.99% viruses

• 99.95% cysts (giardia, cryptosporidium)

• High reduction in heavy metals (lead, arsenic, mercury, cadmium, chromium, iron)

• Elimination of pesticides, drug residues, VOCs, endocrine disruptors, micro-plastics, chlorine, chloramines, tastes, odors and color
