Renewal of CSC city water triple filtration (3 filters)

N°1 - Anti-scale & anti-corrosion (Ref CSC10-1):

1 x food-grade silico-polyphosphate cartridge (micro-filtration foam included). Refill available (more economical). Prevents limescale build-up in pipes/balloons and protects household appliances. Renewal 12-24 months * depending on hardness (limit 35 °F ). Water can be heated up to 80°C; above this temperature, polyphosphate loses its effectiveness (idem if crystal level drops below 2/3).

N°2 - High impurity retention (Ref CSC10-2):

1 x 50 µm sediment filter (sand, sludge, etc.). 100% FDA polypropylene, multi-layer gradient structure for high capacity and longevity. NSF/ANSI 42 .

N°3 - Chlorine & pesticide reduction (Ref CSC10-3):

1 x carbon filter refines taste, filters chlorine, impurities, pesticides, VOCs. Vegetable activated carbon block + polypropylene mesh . NSF/ANSI 42 .

MAINTENANCE :

• Complete N°1 cartridge or crystal refill: 12 to 24 months max *.
• Cartridges N°2 (Sediment) and N°3 (Chlorine): 12 months *.

Use wrench only for loosening.

RENEWAL ASSISTANCE

• Equipment: dismantling wrench, absorbent paper, basin.
• Close by-pass (isolation) and direct water flow.
• Unscrew filter holders with wrench.
• Remove filters and replace seals if necessary (set of 3 CSC O-rings) + edible grease.
• Filter refill option N°1: empty the polyphosphate, wash the bowls, if the 3 seals are damaged, replace them with food-grade grease, then rinse the bottom foam before putting in the new polyphosphate refill, place the second foam on top and close.
• Open the bypass, bleed the air (bleed screw slightly open) and close.
• Close bypass valves and check for leaks (paper).
